2. Magical Bakery
This is another baking game on the list that combines baking with a touch of magic. But this time you’ll actually need to use your magic to bake. In Magical Bakery you play as a magical baker trainee of the Academy of Magical Bakers and now it’s time to put your magical skills to the test by running a bakery!
Create delectable treats and decorate them with magical sprinkles to solve your customers’ problems, warm their hearts, or simply make their day brighter. Mix, knead, bake, and decorate with flair. Unlock new ingredients and upgrade your bakery with the help of two special people and hopefully, you can rise like the little loaf you are to be a full-fledged Magical Baker!

3. Little Herbal Baker

This game isn’t out yet but it should be released sometime next year in 2025 which makes it perfect for you to wishlist now! In Little Herbal Baker you play as Lilia, a novice baker who has freshly arrived in a town called ‘Milkywood’. This one has strong Stardew Valley vibes where you come to a new town and take over a bakery. The fantasy town of Milkywood is home to a number of charming townsfolk who you can befriend and even fall in love with.
Create delicious bread and cakes that warm people’s hearts while also boosting your reputation. On your journey, you may even meet various cute spirits and animals who you can even take home with you.

4. Magical Delicacy
Magical Delicacy mixes running a restaurant with a Metroidvania-inspired ingredient-hunting system. In this world, you play as Flora, a young witch trying to fulfil her dream of becoming a fully-fledged member of the coven. Flora has opened up a new shop and her day job involves cooking up recipes and delivering orders. To get all those meals done you’ll need to travel around and search for the best ingredients to cook up your recipes.
Navigate the town in casual platforming to meet the townsfolk, take up their orders, and learn about this world of magic. Explore the world of Grat and get lost while platforming through this twisted town – find and explore open pathways or fulfil the complex orders of the townsfolk to progress and unlock new kitchen tools.
Platforms: Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC – Steam
5. Lemon Cake
Lemon Cake is a brightly coloured wholesome bakery management game where you’re fixing up an abandoned bakery. This is exactly what the doctor ordered when you’re thinking of a cozy baking game. In Lemon Cake, you’ll prepare pastries from farm to table, grow fresh ingredients in your greenhouse, and serve your baked goods to hungry customers in your own shop. As you gain experience, you’ll be able to expand your recipe book and prepare new desserts. There are over 40 pastries to make in the game, such as cookies, doughnuts, cakes and candies.
The bright and colourful aesthetic of Lemon Cake is easy to play with light farming and bakery management. You’ll also be able to grow trees and plants to harvest a variety of fruits, as well as keep a few cows and chickens for the freshest ingredients in town.
Platforms: PlayStation 4|5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC – Steam
6. Bakery Simulator
Unlike some of the other games on this list, Bakery Simulator is a completely realistic baking management game. From using actual baking recipes to inventory management and production lines, you’ll need to be precise to get your bakery profitable. Manage and control the ingredient storage space. Order different kinds of flour, yeast, and additives from the warehouse. Check which ingredients are missing or which you’re getting short. This is all the stress and achievement of owning a real bakery without the actual commitment.
For those of you who love the high-end realistic stakes of running a bakery. Or even if you just enjoy a more involved baking process then Bakery Simulator is the right choice for you.
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC – Steam
7. Chef RPG
Chef RPG isn’t a completely focused baking game, but it’s on this list because you’re able to restaurant manage any type of restaurant you want, so why not a bakery? Chef RPG is a culinary adventure game where not only do you need to manage your own restaurant, but you’ll need to forage and hunt for your own ingredients as well.
In Chef RPG you play as a chef who has been given the task of reviving Le Sequoia, a once-famous restaurant in White Ash Harbour. It’s up to you to choose what you’d like to serve here, how you want to decorate it and of course, keeping its pantry freshly stocked with ingredients. Right now this game is still in Early Access, but still comes with a remarkable amount of content.

Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PC – Steam
8. Aeruta
Another adventure slash bakery management game on our list! Aeruta is a side-scrolling action-adventure platformer revolving around managing a bakery. You know when I first started researching this list I didn’t think there would be as many crossovers with baking and platformer action. But I’m very happy to be wrong in this case.
In a world where bread is gradually being forgotten, you play as Chaya who is helping to restore an abandoned town and a rundown bakery. Fight monsters for materials and use them to make bread and increase the popularity of your town! Once your town has more people coming you can even recruit new friends to join you on your adventure as well as research and upgrade your recipes and shop.
Aeruta is out now on Early Access.
Platforms: PC – Steam
9. Cookie Clicker
There’s not much to explain here that isn’t right there in the title. Once the OG of idle-clicking games, Cookie Clicker was first released more than 10 years ago and now it’s on Steam. There’s not much to it, every click makes a cookie, but with 67,757 Overwhelmingly Positive Steam reviews, I’d be remiss if this game wasn’t on our list. Click cookies to sell and make profit to upgrade your cookie shop. There are over 600 upgrades including a pet dragon??. Do yourself a favour and replace your doom scrolling with Cookie Clicker for some delicious fun.
Platforms: PC – Steam
10. The Witch’s Bakery
Another game for your wishlist is coming out next year in 2025. I’m most excited about this one because of its gorgeous Studio Ghibli-esque graphics. The Witch’s Bakery is a 2D Adventure RPG where you live a magical life as a witch-baker in Paris. Unlike most cauldrons and spell-casting witches, your only special power is that you can see into people’s hearts and heal their emotions with your magic. Awwww.
You’ll play as Lunne in what looks to be a very sweet and sentimental story. Every day you’ll start at the bakery serving clients and in the evening you’ll be able to explore Paris, build relationships, discover the city’s secrets and go inside her friends’ troubled hearts. I’m getting strong Spiritfarer vibes and really what can be more wholesome than meeting new friends and healing their pain with your magic in Paris? Definitely a wonderful little baking gem to keep on your wishlist.
