But the run-down homestead is only half the story. The real adventure lies in the faces of the Everfolks, a group of islanders who seem to know you better than you know yourself.
Friendship is the currency of truth in Everholm. To discover what happened to your sister and why you were brought to this island, you’ll need to move beyond simple small talk. Whether you choose to help everyone or ignore the main quest to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, your relationships dictate your path. Here is everything you need to know about winning the trust of the Everfolks and unravelling the secrets they hold.

How To Make Friends In Everholm
Making friends with the villagers in Everholm requires talking to them, giving them gifts and doing jobs for them to improve your relationship. However, make sure to only give them gifts that they like, if not, that can reduce relationship points as well.
You can earn up to 10 hearts with a villager, which is 250 Relationship Points. Here’s a breakdown of how to gain (and lose) points.

You can interact with a villager by approaching them and using the ‘interact’ button. A pop-up menu appears above their head, and gift or dialogue action can be chosen. These interactions are tracked in the Diary, with a counter for the number of gifts given that week and whether you’ve talked to them that day. The green marker indicates that you have already talked or given a gift to the villager.
This is the level of relationship you can have with someone:

- 2-4 Hearts: Friend
