The Oat Milk Festival has come to Good Coffee, Great Coffee and with it comes a hot new ingredient! (No prizes for guessing what that is).
From September 10th 2026 to September 24th 2026, Oat Milk will be available and will be a permanent ingredient in your cafe! But unlike previous additional ingredients, customers won’t be ordering specific Oat Milk drinks; instead, they will be requesting it in the existing recipes.
Additionally, the Oat Milk Festival will have a new Photocard Event where you’ll need to collect photocards to unlock rewards. There are gorgeous new oat-themed decorations in the Grainy Oats furniture and accessories collection for your cafe that can only be unlocked during this event.
Let’s go through everything you need to know for Good Coffee, Great Coffee‘s Oat Milk Festival.
New Ingredient: Oat Milk
The Oat Milk Festival brings with it a new permanent base ingredient: Oat Milk. Unlike previous festivals and events, which have limited-time ingredients, Oat Milk will be available throughout the year. During the festival, you’ll be able to serve Oat Milk to your customers from Day 2, but after that, you’ll be able to unlock Oat Milk at Level 7 for $250 in the ingredients section of your Xpresso app.
Unlike other ingredients, Oat Milk will not feature as a recipe for a drink. Instead, it will be an ingredient that customers will request, which you will then need to adjust in your recipe. For example, an Oat Milk Latte will still require one shot of Espresso, but instead of steaming Whole Milk, you’ll instead steam the Oat Milk to add to the drink.
Steaming Oat Milk works out the same as steaming Whole Milk. You’ll need to fill your Milk Pitcher with Oat Milk and then steam it with the steam wand.
The Oat Milk Festival
The Oat Milk Festival is hosted by Avena, an attendant of the celebration since she was a teenager. She loves oat milk and has collected countless treasured memories from the festival over the years.
During the event, you will need to collect 12 Story Photocards to unlock festival rewards. By completing the minigames, you’ll be able to clear the mist to earn funds, gems, Oat Grains, and to get to the next area. (Oat Grains are the Festival Currency which you can use to trade for items in the Event Shop).
You get 5 Action Point refills for free each day; however, you can also pay $100 or watch an ad to instantly earn 2 more. Some blockers will unlock customer orders you need to fulfil in order to clear the area.
