To begin fishing in Traveller’s Rest, you need to first have a Fishing Rod. Head on over to the dock, South of the beach and Hikari will give you your first Battered Fishing Rod. After you’ve picked up the fishing rod, you can talk to Hikari again. She will explain to you how fishing works and give you 5 of each existing bait type.
To start fishing, left-click once to cast a fishing rod into the water.
Click to reel in only when the bobber is fully submerged.
Then hold the cursor on the fishing zone.
The meter will fill with green as you match the sliding bar with the fish. If the meter turns fully red, you will lsoe the catch.
There are two types of water in which you can fish – Saltwater and Freshwater. Saltwater fish can be caught at the Beach. And Freshwater fish can be caught at: South River Bank, Lake beside Miner’s Camp and The Altar’s Cave.
