The Stardew Valley, Sailor Moon-esque game Fields of Mistria is an idyllic farming and life sim that brings everything you love about the genre and infuses it with a touch of magic. Literally. In this beautifully soft and pastel RPG sim, you play as the new farmer on the block. Grow your farm successfully, meet and become friends with the people of Mistria and participate in daily life, which includes attending festivals! Festivals are events that are held throughout the year in Mistria, and they generally involve special items, quests, and dialogue in the game, so make sure not to miss them. In this guide, we’ll go through all the festivals that have been released so far, how to participate and what special items you can get from them.

Spring
Spring 17: Spring Festival
The Spring Festival in Fields of Mistria is centred around the flower Breath of Spring.
On Spring 14, Celine will inform you that the Breath of Spring flowers have bloomed and ask you to collect them for the festival competition. The more flowers you collect, the better prizes you can win. On the morning of the 17th, Celine will arrive to collect your Breath of Springs. She will collect them regardless of where they are stored, so they can be safely stored in chests and will still be collected.
You’ll be able to find Breath of Spring anywhere you would receive Essence, so expect to automatically accumulate them as a side effect of going about your usual tasks.

Summer
Summer 28: Shooting Star Festival
The Shooting Star Festival is the best night to get your Summer lovin’ on! On the day of the festival, Summer 28, Elsie will come to your house and tell you about the event and give you a Shooting Star Brooch. With this Brooch, you can invite a romanceable person to watch the stars with you. You’ll need to have a rating of 4 or more hearts with the person in order for them to accept the Shooting Star Brooch.
Meet the person you’ve invited to the festival at 8pm+ the next day. But if you don’t have enough hearts, the person will decline the invitation.
Star Festival Set
After speaking with Elsie, you’ll get a letter in your mailbox from Josephine giving you three Shooting Star Festival recipes to prepare, if you wish. These include the Star Cushion, Star Lantern and Star Viewing Blanket. These items come in a variety of colour variants.
Fall
Fall 10: Harvest Festival
The Harvest Festival in Fields of Mistria is centred around collecting Queen Berries.
On Fall 7, Reina will inform you that Queen Berries have ripened around town and ask you to collect them for the festival competition. The more berries you collect, the better prizes you can win. On the morning of the 10th, Reina will arrive to collect your Queen Berries. She will collect them regardless of where they are stored, so they can be safely stored in chests and will still be collected.
You’ll be able to find Queen Berries anywhere you would receive Essence, so expect to automatically accumulate them as a side effect of going about your usual tasks.

Winter
Winter 10: Animal Festival
The Animal Festival in Fields of Mistria celebrates the best in show for animals. On Winter 10, you’ll be able to enter the Animal Festival Contest, which has been divided into the Small and Large Animal Competition.
You won’t need to bring your actual animal with you to the festival. To begin, interact with the booth behind Josephine’s podium, where you can choose any small and large animal from your farm from the menu selection. I think it goes without saying, but if you want to win, you’ll have to pick the animal with the highest number of hearts or one with a rare coat colour. Once you’ve entered your animals, talk to Josephine again to begin the competition.
