Special heart events typically trigger once you reach to 2, 4, 6, 7, and 10 hearts with a character. You’ll need to meet certain requirements to trigger a heart event, such as going to the correct place at the right time and day. During a heart event, you’ll unlock your love interest’s personal stories, and based on your choice of responses, you will influence and cultivate your love story.
