Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is the ultimate cozy productivity companion. Over the years, they’ve added wonderful new area expansions for us to relax and be cozy in, including in the kitchen, on a train and most recently in the garden. Coming up this month, we have the Magical Library Expansion that will bring you to the arcane Hogwarts-esque academy of your dreams!
Master the basics of magic by studying dusty grimoires in the grand archives, or spend quiet moments bonding with your Spirit companion, curled up among piles of books.
The Library expansion will come with a whole new customisable area, a brand new magical academia wardrobe and of course new themed spirits and activities. This arcane sanctuary expansion will be coming in a few weeks on August 24th. For now, here’s everything we know about Spirit City: Lofi Sessions – Magical Library DLC.
Note: This article will be updated with new information as Mooncube Games releases it.
Three New Library-Themed Areas
Personalise every corner of your library by mixing and matching different styles to create the cozy reading space of your dreams. From a cozy fireside foyer to a grand arcane study, bring your library to life with towering bookshelves, enchanted tomes, mystical artefacts, and magical curios.
The Magical Library DLC is a new location separate from any of the previous ones, and it has three areas for you to hang out and relax in.
- Library
- Study
- Arcana
New Activities: Spellcraft, Brew Elixirs, Uncover Arcane Lore
Beyond the stunning new shelves and stained glass, the Magical Library DLC blesses your productivity with an arcane study session with three immersive new activities.
You can now practice Spellcraft by tracing intricate runes and channelling ambient energy, adding a touch of wonder to your focus sessions, or tend to a bubbling cauldron as you Brew Elixirs, carefully crafting soothing potions that enhance your concentration.
For the true scholar, the deepest joy lies in the pursuit of knowledge—spend your quiet hours in the grand archives to Uncover Arcane Lore, slowly deciphering ancient texts and forgotten histories as your Spirit companion keeps you company among the dusty tomes.
Whether you are weaving magic, mixing potions, or translating lost secrets, these enchanting activities turn your workspace into a sanctuary of both productivity and mysticism.
New Magical Library-Themed Spirits
Conjure new Spirits to accompany your magical studies, with not one but two dragons as well as a Manta Ray and more. Here are some of the 13 new spirits that have been teased for the upcoming DLC.
- Mantapedia – A manta ray disguised as a flying book
- Kindlestar – Wishing stars given the form of a tiny dragon
- Spellsqueak – Rumoured to descend from ancient witches’ familiars, this heritage perfectly explains their boundless curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Bookwyrm – Chaperpillar’s library form; they’ve snuck in to read a treasure trove of stories.
- Know-it Owl – Behind that stern, majestic posture of the owl lies a heart that delights in curiosity over correctness.
- Witchwicks – The quietest flames are always the ones that keep you warm through the longest nights.
