The Last Gas Station is a nostalgic shopkeeper management sim where you run an old gas station out in the wilderness. In a world where electric cars reign supreme, you have the last gas station around. As you can expect, life out in the rural wilderness isn’t that hectic, and with the game’s Fishing update, things are about to get more cozy.
The game launched a free fishing update in late June, and with it you can now catch fish at various locations across the map, discover rare species, and fill out a dedicated collection journal. Some fish are common, some are elusive, and some are downright strange. In this guide, we’ll run through where and how to catch all the fish in The Last Gas Station.
Complete the fish collections to unlock brand-new interior and exterior decorations for your station.
How To Begin Fishing
Take a break from running your gas station and head on down to the lake and speak to the Bear. When you talk to them, you’ll receive a fishing net and instructions on how to fish. Know that fishing in The Last Gas Station is based on a luck-based minigame.
The fish are divided into three levels of rarity: common (green), rare (blue), and epic (purple). Epic fish have a very low chance of being caught, but this chance can be improved by using decorations to increase the Legend level that corresponds to a particular fish.
In total, there are 40 varieties of fish and 5 fishing spots, with 8 fish per spot.
